Group Ideas

We created a group chat on Whatsapp to discuss ideas and meeting points when we are unable to to speak in person.

Here we are discussing just a couple of ideas before we add them to our pitch.

Reflecting on the practice task

We was able to work as a team and each person was able to contribute to the film whether it was filming, acting, sound or editing. We was able to pick up the sound with no problems and ignore background sounds such as other students and moving around the room with the microphone.

Unfortunately, it had taken more time than we had expected to film as the script was only short and we did not learn it. This meant that we had to keep stopping multiple times to look at the script and had to stop recording as we was unable to keep the camera rolling due the mess ups of the lines. Lighting had become a problem, when we changed camera shots the lighting had changed from light to dark. This is something that needs to be worked on. Another problem we had was when we was editing the positions our body changes and we're not in the same position as the previous shot.

Creative ideas and scheduling

Within my group we was able to finalise our ideas to just two possible story lines of our short film.
